Gift: Vaging War (A2)

Updated this five year old drawing with new layout Original drawing at the right side, close-up of details at the left.

Gotta love the grand epics!

This was a gift for a friend, as a side note, she's in this picture: sorazblack.deviantart.com/art/…
-so the pick of characters is very much based on her taste.



The size is 42 x 59 cm, so it's quite large. Started at this drawing in Desember 09, and finished in August 10. Used Derwent soft pencils, tissue paper, q-tips and knealed eraser (knettgummi, as I prefer, living in Norway)

Reference pictures used. The characters are:
Haldir, Legolas, ringwraiths and Aragorn from LotR, Lucius Malfoy and Severus Snape, William Tavington from the Patriot, Greven av Gral from Kaptein Sabeltann played by Håvard Bakke, and Jared Leto.

I loved working with the details!
And yeah, I was a little obsessed with angels at the time, and what could possibly be better then Lucius Malfoy as an angel?
